Error: Open packing details to view the error message
If you're following the Send to Amazon workflow to create a new shipment and you receive the red text reading "Error: Open packing details to view the error message," what's next?
You’re seeing this message because there’s error within the packing template. Open the packing template by clicking the pencil icon to the left of the message. Here you will be able to identify the specific error that needs to be resolved before you can save your packing template.
For example, you may need to double check the package size or verify you're under the maximum allowable quantity limits for dangerous goods. If you have questions about the specific error you are receiving, let us know under this post!
Note that modifications to the listing (changing the listing weight or dimensions) can take up to 15 minutes to be updated before the template can be saved.

I also have a similar message: 1 Error
This product is ineligible for sending to Amazon with a manufacturer barcode. Please remove the product from the shipment, re-create the offer with an Amazon barcode, and label your units. Learn more
When I viewed the Shipping Template, it showed no errors and everything seems to be correct. I saved the template and tried again and it still gives me the same error whey I try to send two of my out of stock products to Amazon FBA. I have been in touch with support numerous times yet they were of no real help and couldn't offer me any solutions that applied or worked.
I was about to delete the product completely but read that if I did, I could not use the same SKU/UPC? I also read that i could try to add a "condition" which I did and it did not work. Now I can't delete the "condition" that I added.

hello @TaylorR_Amazon. I am also seeing this same error message when I try to send FBA inventory. I've been using the same manufacturer barcode for my product (ASIN B00NJ8B4IC) for years and most recently sent FBA inventory in April 2024 with no issues. Now I see the error "This product is ineligible for sending to Amazon with a manufacturer barcode. Please remove the product from the shipment, re-create the offer with an Amazon barcode, and label your units." I have created numerous cases and spoke to/chatted with NUMEROUS support reps (even escalated the case one day) with no help. It's been over 10 days and we need to send inventory ASAP. Please help! -Renee @ Thirsty Bug LLC (BevHat)

We are not seeing any errors in the packing template, and certainly do not see any pencil icons to the left of the message.
We just opened a case regarding this issue, but they could not answer via chat. Case ID # 16608426711
If there is an error regarding products, it should be identified in Step 1, not Step 1b (after we've already picked, packed, and uploaded box contents).
EDIT: Actually, this may be a different (yet similar) error. Ours says:
"Error confirming packing method Something went wrong with placement. Refresh to generate new packing methods."
It occurs while we are uploading our Box Contents Excel files at the end of Step 1b.
