UPS Shipping Costs - Bait & Switch Scam

Seems to be a deeply integrated scam going on with the Amazon UPS posted pricing and what UPS will actually charge in the end.

For quite sometime I have noticed that a 2# package costs more that a 5# package when shipping with UPS. All of our shipments are 7x7x3. I can list off 100s of examples and order#s, screenshots etc. - waste a lot of my time and it go nowhere.

I am just making a statement to see if others are having the same issue???? Please - if you have the time, try these dimensions on your end for a shipment (trial) to see what costs you are getting.

I notice that the same pricing scam applies to other platforms like endicia/stamps.com so it is NOT unique to Amazon.

What I am saying is that UPS is giving falsely low posted pricing when we are making a decision about what shipping carrier to use and etc. only to choose them (UPS) because they they were the "cheapest" but then a month later getting UPS adjustments that are far higher than choosing another option such as USPS.

These are normal packages. Brown cardboard exterior. No odd shape. Shipping weights and dimensions spot on with what UPS says when the adjustment is finally brought to light a month later. The only difference is the price we were quoted on the AMAZON site and what UPS says we were supposed to be charged.

Before making a quick comment back - please reread what I have written so as not to make some suggestion that has already been covered here. This is a specific issue and the "fix" is not a sales pitch about how great another platform is.

To me is seems like an illegal BAIT AND SWITCH move by UPS to get us to pick them.

Again, again, again - it is NOT AMAZON. As I have stated above, other platforms quote the same pricing that AMAZON has. UPS applies the price increase adjustments after the fact.
