Sheer Discrimination from Amazon for Pakistani Sellers

This is to express utter disappointment. It's been more than a year selling on Amazon. At this moment, I have an Account Health Rating of 348, have 20 reviews with 100% positive remarks, have had a turnover of around $200,000, in addition to all these I am also enrolled in the Account Health Assurance yet I am unable to list most of the products. Whenever I try adding products, it says YOUR ACCOUNT DOES NOT QUALIFY. From all the products I try to list, in almost 90% I get the same message. In fact, I have brand approvals to sell their products on Amazon.

I tried contacting Amazon Seller Support a couple of times but each time I get a reply that we have certain matrices that determine whether the Account is qualified or not. Yet when one of my friend from USA was able to sell the products on his fresh newly made Seller Central with zero account history.

On this, Amazon says that it is because we have reservations regarding the supply chain since you are situated in Pakistan and are remotely managing the business. This is literally insane, how can I then achieve such brilliant statistics Masha Allah if I was making or deceiving Amazon in anyway.

This is nothing but sheer discrimination from Amazon. I request a positive resolution to this.

Where are you sourcing your products? Note that many brands have regional restrictions; to sell on a US retail site, you MUST get your products from a US distributor (not all brands, but many). Ditto for selling on other country or regional sites.

So if you are sourcing your products in Pakistan, and the brand has regional restrictions, the permission from the Pakistani rights holder will not apply to allowing you to sell on the US (.com) site.

Hello @Seller_6QpnxEABlkPYf,

Michelle at Amazon here. Can you please provide me with your case ID that you are concerned with so I can see if I can get any further information for you. If you are approved by a brand to sell their products, I would recommend that you ask them to list you as an authorized reseller in their Brand Registry which will help with the approval process.

I look forward to hearing back from you!

Michelle
