Stockton FBA Warehouse (SCK4) will not accept USPS Deliveries
When shipping via USPS, Amazon will require what we send inventory to the SCK4 warehouse in Stockton, CA. Unfortunately, this warehouse rejects all USPS shipments as the USPS delivery trucks are not allowed to access the facility.
Other posts on the Seller Forums also confirm that USPS shipments are not accepted at SCK4.
Here is the tracking message when our shipment arrived to SCK4:
- May 03, 2024 07:28:00 AM - Stockton CA US - Customer refused delivery because package was not wanted.
Amazon refuses to take responsibility for the shipping cost since this is not a "Partnered Carrier" even though they require us to send inventory to a fulfillment center that does not accept small parcel USPS shipments.
We ship from Hawaii and Amazon does not provide Partnered Carrier options for our state.

Any suggestions how to get past the canned response from Amazon Seller Support?

Upon checking on our resources, in this shipment you didn't use a partnered carrier, as per Amazon's policies you will need to connect with your carrier for any rejection information, since we don't have the specific reason.

You may want to look at shipping to someone in the lower-48 and then have them forward the boxes to FBA via UPS Ground. I don't know how much that would add to your costs or if it would be worth it or not.

Thanks for taking the time to post. As you mentioned, this is an issue that has arisen in the past, due to Hawaii not being eligible for Partner Carriers. Do you know if USPS attempted to schedule delivery with the FC?
