Question regarding ON TIME DELIVERY Metric for Seller Fulfilled Prime
hi
Can someone please shed some light on what date a shipment for an order affects the On Time Delivery Metric?
We understand SFP is analyzed on a Sunday thru Saturday date range.
Which one of these dates are the date that the late or on time delivery date hits the metrics?
Is it:
1) Order Date
2) Ship Date
3) Delivery By Date
4) Delivery Date
Or some other date?

The 4) Delivery Date must be on or before the 3) Deliver by Date.
If the 4) Delivery Date is after the 3) Deliver by Date, then it is a late delivery and is counted against your On Time Delivery Rate and therefore affects the One Time Delivery Metric.

Look to the right of the "On-time delivery" and you will see the dates of the metric.

The date range of this metric is a 14 day period during which the deliveries were made and it is reported 7 days after the end of the reporting 14 day window. So in the example of our image, the reporting period began on Feb 17th and ended on Mar 2nd (14 day period) and then reported (hits the metric) 7 days later on Mar 9th.
So any orders delivered during this range will have the delivery date compared to the estimated deliver by date to determine if the order was delivered on time. The percentage of your On-time deliveries is then posted to your metric page 7 days after the then current rolling 14 day period.

if your deliver by date is 3/6, and you deliver on 3/7 or 3/8 or 3/9, the metric takes the hit on 3/6. the answer is 3) deliver by date.
As a note, i dont believe it shows up in the metrics until its actually delivered late, even if its past the deliver by date. for example with made up numbers, if we check our metrics by day as the week progresses we may notice that on 3/7 when we check the metric for 3/6 there are 40 late deliveries, but on 3/8 when more have been delivered late the metric for 3/6 may increase further to 80 late deliveries. Then on 3/9, it may go up to 110.
hope this helps!
