How to manage returns back to station

I'm a new seller and so far everything has been going good past few months. I'm dealing with my first return from a customer who did not want the item anymore. No other issues were noted but that on my return page. My question is how do I get Amazon to return the package back to there warehouse and list my item for sale again? When the customer initiated the return instead of going back to the warehouse Amazon is returning the package back too my address? The item is still sell-able and I don't want to incur an extra charge for shipping it out again if my item is perfectly in good condition.

If the order was fulfilled by you and not FBA, then the return will come back to you, but if it was FBA, then it will get returned to an Amazon warehouse. If they deem that it is not sellable, then it could be sent back to you depending on your fulfillment settings.

Hello there, and thank you for your post here in the New Seller Community.

Fellow community member, @Seller_f4a7xAPCCSMqDhas already provided you with some great guidance above. This should answer your question.

However, I wanted to pop in here to simply provide this link to a brief video the Returns Settings page in Seller Central that should give you some additional information here.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
