What is it, a verifiable supplier?

My account has been deactivated because, in Amazon's eye, I used an un-verifiable supplier to purchase my product from, this is the verbatim reply from Amazon:

"After reviewing the information from yourprovided, we observed that you have supplied documentation to Amazon which were from an un-verifiable supplier."

What is a verified supplier and how can I get the list of them? For context, I was auto-ungated to sell this item.

Thanks!

"I was auto-ungated to sell this item."

You are confusing AMAZON allowing you to list (or at least "ungate") an item or category and actually being APPROVED to sell a product. AMAZON is only interested in FEES. They will allow a chimpanzee to list if it means they collect $$$$$.

"What is a verified supplier and how can I get the list of them? "

VERY easy answer on this one.

You contact your sales rep at the BRAND and ask them for a list of their authorized wholesale distributors.

THIS should have been one of the first steps you took. The FIRST step was getting an LOA from the brand authorizing you to sell their products.

The first question is -- Are you authorized IN WRITING by the BRAND to sell their items on Amazon? That means from the BRAND, not some random wholesale source that can NOT authorize anything – they only SELL.

More and more brands have provided a "whitelist" of their approved sellers and if YOU are NOT on the list you will be stopped in your tracks and probably hit with an IP violation.

The second (and probably more important) question is -- Where are you sourcing your products? Are you buying direct from the brand or through an AUTHORIZED wholesale source?

Have you verified with the BRAND that your distributor IS an authorized wholesale distributor for ALL of their products. Some wholesalers are only allowed to distribute portions of a product line.

NOTE – FOR 'GATED' CATEGORIES' DOING RA IS NOT PERMITTED ON AMAZON. PERIOD. If you have to 'apply to sell' you WILL need an INVOICE from an AUTHORIZED distributor and not a receipt.

Thank you for the information regarding the deactivation of your account. I understand that you have been attempting to appeal, but our team has found you to have sourced from an unverifiable supplier. When you were initially setting up your operations, how did you determine the supplier for your product?

Our team will want to ensure that the product provided can be traced back to the original manufacturer or brand. If they cannot verify this, they will determine the details unverifiable. Can your supplier be traced directly back to the original supply?

If our team is unable to properly verify the information and documentation that you are providing, then they will reject the submission. Depending on the severity and explicitly requested information, you may be unable to resolve the concern if you cannot provide valid documentation. If you would like to share the latest notification, we can attempt to assist in determining your next steps.

We ask that you continue to utilize this thread to avoid any confusion.

Best,

Atlas
