If you use Amazon Easy Ship to deliver your products to customers, Amazon will arrange pickup for your customer returns and deliver the returned items to you.
Once the pickup for the return is scheduled by the buyer, the tracking details should be available in most cases on the Manage Returns page. You can view tracking information by selecting ‘View more details’ for a specific return. The tracking ID is shown and can be used to track the package with the carrier.
No, the returns service is only available for Amazon Easy Ship orders. If you use self-ship (e.g., because you are not located in The Kingdome of Sausi Arabia and cannot use the Amazon Easy Ship program) you must authorize the return and provide a prepaid return shipping label to your customers. All categories on Amazon Easy Ship are eligible for this returns service. Any products that cannot be delivered through Amazon Easy Ship to customers are similarly not allowable for returns.
At this point of time, the Amazon Easy Ship return program is in promotional mode, so we will not charge for returns. You will pay the Amazon Easy Ship fee for the outbound delivery. We will update the reverse pickup fee details on Seller Central after the promotional period ends.
You must provide customers with the tracking information for the return, if requested. You can find the tracking information in Seller Central Manage Returns page.
The shipping label on the returned package will have RMA identification number. You can search in Seller Central by RMA ID. (E.g. DsxX0xxxRRMA).
At present, Amazon carriers will provide return pickup and delivery service. However, we may partner with other logistic service providers to perform the return deliveries.
The customer will request the return from the ‘Your Orders’ page of their account on Amazon. They will schedule the pickup (or do a dropoff), and once the package is with the carrier, it will be routed to your location. If the customer has any questions, they can contact you directly over email, and you must communicate with them through Seller Central. Once you receive the item, you should issue the refund from Seller Central Manage Returns within 24 hours to avoid A-to-z Guarantee Claims or negative impact on your account performance. The buyer will receive the refund to their original payment method.
